You will find plenty of reviews and ratings that do not have good words for Proform 400 elliptical trainer. The interesting thing is, most people think that they bought a lemon and will get a better model when the customer service replaces it. But they end up with another Proform 400 that they have troubles with. Parts will malfunction again and repairmen will come to their home to try and fix the machine. When you take a look at this machine for the first time, you won’t b thinking it’s an elliptical trainer. But Proform Crosswalk is just that. It looks a lot like some commercial unit and has received a lot of attention for its design and some features it has. It is one of more expensive Proform machines, although this doesn’t mean much, since most of their models are below average price.

Instead of one flywheel like all elliptical trainers have, Proform Crosswalk has two of them. This improves the stability and the smooth movement of the machine. It is a big step forward for Proform, because two flywheels are usually installed in commercial units. This is really a good solution and for the price, a good value indeed.

Most models from this brand have a short stride that doesn’t suit taller users and all those people who want more vigorous exercises. But Crosswalk has a 22″ length stride which will allow you to make those big steps so you will feel exactly like you are running. The design allows it and it really has a smooth motion that you will enjoy in.

We are already used to Proform and the features the offer with their fitness equipment. IT is understandable that machine like this one has 20 different workout programs, iPod dock, Light Touch Controls, Heart Rate monitor, Fitness Journal, HD Display and silent magnetic resitance.

There are plenty of feature you can enjoy in and bring your exercising routines to a completely new level. It is hard to find a fault to a machine that offers so much. It is something that Proform should really think about and keep it going in this direction. Comparing to their other models, this one does offer quality and versatility and is a great choice.

The only thing I could complain is the warranty. Proform Crosswalk elliptical trainer is presented as a commercial unit, but the warranty is quite limited. Especially when you compare it to the warranties other brands offer for their fitness equipment units. I do hope this will change soon. But until then, you can buy this elliptical trainer and reach your exercising goals. You won’t have to pay more than $1,000 for it, which is something you should be happy about.
